Bengaluru is one of the longer journeys to Kashmir, which changes what makes sense to book. Groups from Karnataka usually take 6 nights or more — at that distance a 4 night trip spends too much of itself in airports.
Punjab & Haryana
Chandigarh is close enough to Kashmir that driving is a real option — about 600 km through Jammu. Punjab and Haryana families often combine the road trip with a short 4 or 5 night stay.
Tamil Nadu
Chennai to Srinagar is the longest domestic journey on this page, so Tamil Nadu travellers get the most out of 6 nights or more — and many want snow, which means planning around winter.
Delhi NCR
Delhi has the shortest flight to Srinagar of any major Indian city, plus a rail route via Katra. That makes 4 night trips genuinely practical — you lose almost no time in transit.
Telangana
Our largest corporate booking to date came from Hyderabad — 25 people over 6 days. Group travel from Telangana tends to be the 8 and 12 seat Tempo Traveler tiers rather than the private car options.
Rajasthan
From Jaipur, Kashmir is a switch from desert heat to snowline in a single day. Most Rajasthan travellers fly via Delhi and book 5 nights — enough to justify the connection and see all four valleys.
West Bengal
Bengali travellers are among Kashmir’s most loyal visitors, and the Puja holidays in October line up with the valley’s best weather. Kolkata has direct flights to Srinagar, so even a 5 night trip works.
Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow travellers usually come in family groups over the summer holidays. With a Delhi connection or an overnight train to Jammu, 5 nights gives a comfortable, unhurried trip.
Maharashtra
Mumbai travellers tend to book shorter, higher-comfort trips — often 4 nights with a houseboat night included, fitted around a long weekend rather than a full holiday.

Couples from Pune are a recurring booking for us, often for anniversaries rather than honeymoons. Many fly from Mumbai rather than Pune itself, which is worth checking before booking — the fare difference can outweigh the drive.
