Kashmir family packages

The single most useful thing to know about family pricing here: our prices are a total for the group, not per person. A family of four on the four-night circuit pays ₹38,200 between them, which works out around ₹9,550 a head — not ₹38,200 each. The per-head cost falls as the group grows, so grandparents and cousins make the trip cheaper rather than dearer.

What makes an itinerary work with children

• One hotel, not four. Every itinerary here is built on a Srinagar base with day trips out, so nobody repacks a suitcase mid-holiday.
• No more than one long drive in a day. Sonamarg is three hours each way and is the only genuinely long one.
• The houseboat night placed early rather than last, so nobody is packing on the water.
• Room in the schedule for the things children actually remember — the shikara, the pony rides, the snow at the top of the Gondola.

Choosing between the four

• Kashmir 4N/5D at ₹27,200 for two, ₹38,200 for four — the full valley circuit and the most-booked trip we run.
• Kashmir 5N/6D with a houseboat at ₹29,700 for two, adding a Pahalgam night and a night on the Dal.
• Classic Kashmir 5N/6D at ₹28,900 for two, which spends the extra night on a second Srinagar day instead.
• Family Delight 6N/7D at ₹39,800 for two — seven days at 4★ and the most relaxed pace of the four.

Timing a family trip

May and June suit school holidays and every destination is open, but they are also the busiest and most expensive weeks. The first half of November — Diwali falls on 8 November 2026 — is the underrated alternative: 12–17°C days, the last of the autumn colour, and shoulder-season rates.
