About this trip
Seven days at a pace that works with children and parents in the same group. The schedule is deliberately lighter than our shorter circuits: no day has more than one long drive, there is a full night in Pahalgam so the Lidder valley is seen before the crowds arrive, and a deluxe houseboat night on the Dal.
Accommodation is 4★ throughout, which matters more on a seven-day trip than a four-day one — and the extra nights buy unhurried mornings rather than extra destinations.

Day 1Arrival in Srinagar & local sightseeing
- Warm welcome on arrival at Srinagar Airport by our representative.
- Transfer to hotel and check-in.
- Local sightseeing of Srinagar — Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Chashme Shahi and Shankaracharya Temple.
- Enjoy a 1 hour Shikara ride at the famous Dal Lake.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2Srinagar — Old City, Hazratbal & Pari Mahal
- Morning in the Old City — Jama Masjid, Khanqah-e-Moula and Hari Parbat.
- Hazratbal Shrine on the western shore of the Dal.
- Pari Mahal in the late afternoon for the best view over the lake.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3Day trip to Gulmarg
- After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (50 km, approx. 2 hours) through Tangmarg.
- Free time at the meadow — the Gondola cable car, pony rides or a walk up towards Khilanmarg.
- Gondola tickets are booked separately and sell out in season; we advise booking ahead.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 4Srinagar to Pahalgam
- Drive to Pahalgam via Pampore saffron fields and the Martand Sun Temple near Mattan.
- Check in and afternoon free along the Lidder river.
- Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5Pahalgam valleys & return to Srinagar
- Early start for Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari by local union vehicle.
- Pony rides and union vehicle charges are paid locally and are not included.

Day 6Sonamarg & houseboat night
- Full day trip to Sonamarg — Thajiwas Glacier by pony or on foot.
- Return to Srinagar and transfer to a deluxe houseboat by shikara.

- Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
- Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight.
- Note that the last flights out of Srinagar are early — plan the day accordingly.
