About this trip
Five nights is the length at which Kashmir stops feeling rushed. This itinerary covers all four main destinations — Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Pahalgam as full day trips, with two days in and around Srinagar — from a single hotel, so you unpack once and never lose half a day to check-in.
It is the most-booked shape of trip we run, and the extra night over the 4N/5D circuit goes where it is most useful: a second Srinagar day for the Old City and the gardens, which almost every shorter itinerary skips.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrival in Srinagar & local sightseeing
- Warm welcome on arrival at Srinagar Airport by our representative.
- Transfer to hotel and check-in.
- Local sightseeing of Srinagar — Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Chashme Shahi and Shankaracharya Temple.
- Enjoy a 1 hour Shikara ride at the famous Dal Lake.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2Day trip to Gulmarg
- After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (50 km, approx. 2 hours) through Tangmarg.
- Free time at the meadow — the Gondola cable car, pony rides or a walk up towards Khilanmarg.
- Gondola tickets are booked separately and sell out in season; we advise booking ahead.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 3Day trip to Sonamarg
- Drive to Sonamarg (80 km, approx. 3 hours) along the Sindh valley.
- Pony ride or walk up to Thajiwas Glacier, roughly 3 km from the road head.
- Zero Point beyond Sonamarg is seasonal and closes with the first heavy snow.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 4Day trip to Pahalgam
- Drive to Pahalgam (90 km, approx. 2.5 hours) along the Lidder river, passing the saffron fields at Pampore.
- Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari by local union vehicle.
- Pony rides and union vehicle charges are paid locally at fixed rates and are not included.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 5Srinagar — Old City, Hazratbal & free time
- Morning walk through the Old City — Jama Masjid at Nowhatta, Khanqah-e-Moula on the Jhelum and Hari Parbat.
- Visit Hazratbal Shrine on the western shore of the Dal.
- Afternoon free for shopping — pashmina, saffron, walnut wood and papier-mache.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 6Departure
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
- Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight.
- Note that the last flights out of Srinagar are early — plan the day accordingly.

Questions about this package
Kashmir is beautiful all year round. Spring (March–May) is ideal for tulip gardens and blossoming orchards. Summer (June–August) offers lush green valleys perfect for sightseeing. Autumn (September–November) brings stunning golden foliage. Winter (December–February) is magical for snowfall and skiing in Gulmarg.
Gondola tickets are not included by default, but we can add Phase 1 and Phase 2 tickets to your package. They must be booked in advance as they sell out quickly in peak season, and we handle all ticket arrangements on your behalf.
