About this trip
The only itinerary we run that puts you on the mountain rather than driving to it. Two nights at a 5★ resort in Gulmarg means you are on the meadow at first light and still there when the day visitors have gone — which is the entire difference between seeing Gulmarg and staying in it.
Gondola passes for both phases are included rather than charged on top, which is unusual and deliberate: at this price the ticket should not be a surprise. Phase 2 remains weather-dependent and no operator can guarantee it runs.

Day 1Arrival & luxury houseboat
- Welcome on arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer by shikara to a luxury Dal Lake houseboat.
- Afternoon at leisure on the water.
- Private hour-long shikara ride towards evening.
- Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 2Srinagar — gardens, Pari Mahal & the Old City
- Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi.
- Pari Mahal above Chashme Shahi for the finest view over the lake.
- Afternoon in the Old City, with time for pashmina and saffron at registered dealers.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3Transfer to Gulmarg & Gondola Phase 1
- Drive to Gulmarg (50 km, approx. 2 hours) and check in to the resort.
- Gondola Phase 1 to Kongdoori at roughly 3,080 m — passes included.
- Evening at leisure at the resort.
- Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 4Gulmarg — Apharwat & Khilanmarg
- Gondola Phase 2 to just under 4,000 m on Apharwat, weather permitting — passes included.
- Alternative on a closed day: the walk or pony ride up to Khilanmarg.
- Afternoon free at the resort, or the golf course in season.
- Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

- Breakfast and check out.
- Drive down to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight.

Questions about this package
Gondola tickets are not included by default, but we can add Phase 1 and Phase 2 tickets to your package. They must be booked in advance as they sell out quickly in peak season, and we handle all ticket arrangements on your behalf.
Kashmir is beautiful all year round. Spring (March–May) is ideal for tulip gardens and blossoming orchards. Summer (June–August) offers lush green valleys perfect for sightseeing. Autumn (September–November) brings stunning golden foliage. Winter (December–February) is magical for snowfall and skiing in Gulmarg.
