About this trip
Our entry point into a five-night honeymoon, and the one we suggest to couples who want the houseboat and the candlelight dinner without the premium properties that push the Shades and Treasure itineraries higher.
The route is unhurried on purpose: a houseboat night on arrival, a full day in Gulmarg, a night in Pahalgam so the Lidder valley is yours before the day traffic, and a final Srinagar day with nothing scheduled.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrival & houseboat night
- Welcome on arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer by shikara to a deluxe Dal Lake houseboat.
- Welcome flower decoration in the room.
- Private hour-long shikara ride in the late afternoon.
- Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 2Srinagar — Mughal Gardens & candlelight dinner
- Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi.
- Pari Mahal in the late afternoon for the view over the lake.
- Candlelight dinner for two in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3Day trip to Gulmarg
- After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (50 km, approx. 2 hours) through Tangmarg.
- Free time at the meadow — the Gondola cable car, pony rides or a walk up towards Khilanmarg.
- Gondola tickets are booked separately and sell out in season; we advise booking ahead.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 4Srinagar to Pahalgam
- Drive to Pahalgam via the Pampore saffron fields.
- Check in and afternoon free along the Lidder river.
- Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5Pahalgam valleys & return to Srinagar
- Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari by local union vehicle.
- Pony and union vehicle charges are paid locally and are not included.
- Drive back to Srinagar and the evening at leisure.

Day 6Departure
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
- Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight.
- Note that the last flights out of Srinagar are early — plan the day accordingly.
