Atal Setu is a cable-stayed bridge across the Ravi at Basohli, opened in 2015. It connects Jammu and Kashmir with Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and shortened the journey between the three.
The bridge, with its tall pylon and fan of cables over the reservoir, has become a sight in its own right. In the evenings it is illuminated.
